Araucana thread anyone?

In fact, I think I'll go ahead and put 6 eggs in the incubator to give them a head start. I keep a dozen hatching eggs on hand in case someone goes broody, and half of those are due to be disposed of early next week...so why not?!
How old are the eggs? Why not eat them instead of throwing them out if they haven’t been incubated. :idunno

Oh ok. If it hasn’t been washed it should be fine for consumption. You can always cook them up and feed them back to the chickens. Or compost them.
I did cook them up and feed them to the chickens for awhile, but it became a pain in the ***. I've been so busy lately its just one less thing I have to do. I don't put real foods in my compost. I'm afraid it will attract mice and raccoons.

On a different note, I've been locked out of facebook. I had to go through a verification thing and they were supposed to send a confirmation code to my phone (via text message), and I'm not getting it even though my phone number is correct. Anyone else had that problem?
That’s really odd. I hope you can get back on soon.
