Araucana thread anyone?

Well, I have tried everything to get back into facebook. I'm not getting the code they supposedly sent me by phone or email. I could not find a way to contact someone. Went through every problem solving solution they offered, to only be told I've exhausted my resources and I have to wait 24 hours to try again. Screw 'em.

Interestingly, I just tried to look at your page on FB, and I couldn't find it. I searched it by name, I searched for it on the Araucana pages... nothing.

I was just outside and heard a very strange noise coming from the chicken runs. It kind of sounded like a chick in distress, and also kind of like a bird of prey - so I went behind the barn and I'm watching and listening. All four of the 6 week old chicks were on a perch, so no one there was distressed. All of a sudden the little cockerel with the crooked toes stood up and tried to crow. It had the rhythm of a crow, but was in a whistling chick sound. Too funny! That is the earliest I have seen/heard an Araucana try to crow.

Oh my...
The girl came to get the black hen. As she's walking up to me I notice she doesn't have a box, pet carrier, crate or anything. I ask about it, and she said she was just going to let her ride loose in the minivan. I don't know what my facial expression did (whatever I am thinking usually shows on my face), but her face changed and she said, "you don't think that's a good idea?" I said, " No, she's not tame and most chickens would freak out in that situation anyway." She said, "Oh not mine. They all like to ride in the car with me." Godspeed to you, little black hen! :gig:lau
