I did look before I went on my trip. Mo wing bands.@Frazzemrat1 were you able to find the wing bands on your Araucanas?
I'm confident the tufted chick is a cockerel. Unfortunately he has Manolito's comb. He's not quite 4 weeks old and already has 3 rows of peas!
I thought that would work breeding him back to Mama but it didn't on this chick. Mama has a pretty small comb.
Four weeks old today
That's a lot of comb for 4 weeks old! Looks like his tufts will be bigger than his dad's, and more mottled.
Both mottled chicks are going out to a sectioned off area of the coop today. I can't stand the stink and mess any longer!
