Araucana thread anyone?

@Frazzemrat1 How is your pullet doing? Do you still have the white Araucana hen?

I do... And the buff n white, Sera, is much larger than the white. I need to get some pics, cause she's looking so pretty!

Kind of Araucana related...kind of not... BUT... something completely mortifying happened to me this morning. In the summer since it is so hot I go out and do my morning chicken chores in my bra and shorts after my shower. I live down a lane, out in the boonies, surrounded by trees, so I can do that. What are the odds of a highway department truck with 2 men in it pulling up to my house at 7:15 in the morning to ask me if I have calves, and if so they are loose across the road??? Well this morning those odds were pretty good. I could just die!!

Oh dear. I understand the wanting to just disappear feeling.
My mom hates it when I tend to the chickens in underwear and shorts so I rarely do it.

Three eggs in lockdown (2 for sure alive, one questionable) due Friday or Saturday, and 7 eggs under Mama due to hatch Friday. This will be the last hatch of the year. Fingers crossed all goes well.

Mine are due Monday. Not araucana though. I have 4 alive for sure, 1 plausible, but hard to see through, and 4 I can't see through even with a candling light.

Here's Sera... She's getting big! I can't wait to see if she lays true blue eggs, unlike little Ahsoka... she lays slightly green eggs.

Since the attack, my poor dark brahma hasn't laid. She laid the first day, an egg that was already in the pipeline, but she hasn't since. Eats fine, acts the same, but otherwise, not laying. I think she's still stressed.
