Araucana thread anyone?

I'm now down to one chick that my hen hatched. From 9 eggs to 6 hatching, and my damned dog has killed 4 and suspected to have killed a 5 th.

The only swedish flower chick is gone Wah. That freaking dog has killed an entire flock this year. I can't even figure out how they managed to get out of the run. I've reinforced the bottom 4 feet with 1/2 inch hardware cloth.

sorry for your losses. you should make some sort of cage or covered small run till they grow up.

I ordered chicks last night from Sky Blue!!! Woot! She's going to send them out at the end of the month when its cooler in Lousianna... but I got babies!
I have a double tufted blue cuckoo cockerel, a blue mottled un-tufted pullet and a 'blue paint' un-tufted straight run.

BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need your help guys. I just can't tell if Sis is really a sis. This is MJ's hatch mate. Full sibling. They will be 12 weeks old tomorrow. MJ and Ratchet's chick, also a full sibling, were obvious cockerels at 5 weeks old. Sis does not have any cockerel features like MJ, but the amount of red in her face is confusing! It's a little redder than the video appears, but not as red as MJ's face. I tried to get them both together for comparison. Sorry my camera sucks. It just doesn't show color well no matter how I adjust the settings. Anyways, you can see MJ has a big comb, saddle feathers, thicker legs, and is bigger overall. What do you guys think?

The shininess of the hackle feathers makes it hard to tell if they are pointed or rounded. I’m leaning pullet on this one.

The tufted three:
A carbon copy of the above chick on the left, double tufted mottled in the center, and a single tufted splash on the right. The splash is the one that was attacked the other day. As long as it's neck doesn't get infected I think it will be okay.
