Araucana thread anyone?

I have photos on my site I think. I can send photos. They are all pullets that started laying in the past month or two. The blue one with the chicks had just started laying not long before she went broody. I have three that are laying now. A recessive White clean faced rumpless, a single tufted black rumpless and a dt cuckoo tailed. They are with Bugle Boy a blue wheaten dt rumpless. The Roo is from Simone Roland. The pullets are from Ann Charles. They are all laying green/blue eggs.

If you could send pictures that would be amazing, otherwise I'll have to look tomorrow at work at some point.

I'd send you eggs as well. My girls are from Ann Charles, and my roo is from Ann Horsman. I gave a local 10 eggs to test hatch for me. He got a 60% hatch rate.

Beyond that what colors do you see these babies being? I see 2 black. The grayish one, not sure if it'll be blue or recessive white. Chipmunk ones, no idea.

Well in silkies, that tiny striped chipmunk is partridge and in Cochins and leghorns, that silvery is sometimes lavender. In pheonixes, the more brown chipmunk are the normal golden duckwing

Yep, edited the response more, totally missed that there were 3, not just the marrow stripped one

just got 9 araucana chicks

Two more Araucana pullets that just started to lay have gone broody. At this rate it will be a while before I can gather eggs to sell. Here are photos of the white ones. Two clean-faced pullets in the whole hatch. So many cockerels again this year.

I can’t say often because this is my first season with Araucana laying. Out of five pullets, three have gone broody within a month of starting to lay. I didn’t expect it.

I finally got a few araucana chicks. all clear faced. I am thinking to keep a few girls and get a double tufted cockerel.
