It is my opinion you gave away the wrong bird. Actually you gave away the right bird just to the wrong person. LOL!!! I want the yellow blue birchen roo. He is awesome. I would put him with a lemon blue, a silver duckwing and a blue hen and see what I got.

I love, love, love him.

Hahah, he was a nice bird, but just too skinny and WAY too wild tempered for me. There was nothing I could contain him in, and he didn't care for people much. (skittish) He's with a friend who lives about 20 miles away though. She's got a bunch of banties for him.

I'm sure I'll pop up with a much better looking cockerel I'm willing to trade/sell down the road though.

From yesterday.

Everyone, this is one of Lanae's new girls, Minnie is still in Vermont but will make the long journey soon with another silver duckwing hen.

She's adorable! I hope she's still young though. . . There's no salmon on her breast.

Btw, my new chicks are hatching - The first one is AWESOME! It's black with a bright yellow head. The second so far is a duckwing!

Congratulations. Let me know how the black with yellow head turns out. I had a double tufted one of those that died. I have wondered how it would have turned out.

This one is clean faced though. The duckwing that hatched I so far don't know, it's still wet.
