Araucana thread anyone?

I still have a big interest in these Colloncas. I believe it will be great to add this diversity to my flock. Plus they are very neat birds. I will enjoy having them for my little breeding project.

I checked my little girl and the pastie butt appears to be cleared up. There was just some poop stuck on her lower feathers so I cleaned that off.

I did have a scare yesterday. When I opened the top of my brooder, Mr. Bangles flew out. I chased him around and he ran behind a metal book shelf. I waited until my hubby came down and dhe caught him. So both are safe and sound back in the brooder.

Hey folks,
I ran across some Araucana's at an auction today. Actually I don't think they are full Araucana though, the roosters has single combs, and one hen had a peacomb in front and single comb in the back. They were a bargain though ans they are just for crossing into my EE's and Crested EE's (my project) .

I think they are Silver's although the roosters one of them had a little red leakage and the other had way too much white on his neck and alot of red leakage. They are pretty though.
