Are 3 of my 8 chickens roosters??

Hi everyone,

This is my first time raising chickens, and so far I've had great luck. I started with 8 day old chicks and now have 8 healthy 4 month old chickens! Unfortunately, I can't have any roosters, and now my two RIRs and my one BR are looking more and more like roosters. I just need some confirmation on what sex they are so that I can find a home for them, if needed. They are all beautiful and I hate to get rid of any of them! What do you think?

If they are four months old they are pullets. When did they get their watts and when did the comb turn red? My pullets are 3 month and they are just starting the red and the watts and comb are suddenly growing. It won't be long before you start getting eggs if you are not already. You more likely than not would have heard a crow by now if you did have some roos.

I don't know...they almost look henish to me too if they are 4 months old. I would wait a few more weeks before giving them away just to be sure.
