Are all Delawares jerks?

My buff orpington is my nicest hen, then my golden comet, then I've got the 2 delawares that I kept.. the nicest 2 of 6!, then my EE's, and lastly, my cuckoo maran, who is terrified of me for some reason.. I got the least friendly 3 as adults, but the delawares we raised from babies... hand fed, the whole bit... they just all turned out varying degrees of nastiness....
