are aspen wood shavings ok?

I can't remember, is the aspen wood shaving ok for use in the brooder & coop? I thought it was cedar i need to stay away from?

Aspen is fine. I chip just about any kind of wood but cedar with no problems.

Aspin shavings are great. I prefer those over pine even though a little more spendy.
