Are Broody Eggs Good To Eat?

I would suggest putting her in a broody buster cage. If you put her in another coop, she's just going to try to nest in there. @aart has good pics of their broody buster and can tell you their experiences with breaking broodies.

The eggs won't be bad after having been sat on overnight for one night.

I used to do the raised cage to break a broody , but we discovered another kinder way to let them come around .

Our hens go into a large dog crate or the chicken tractor for a few days on fresh grass and no nesting boxes. We’ve found that even adding a friend and a few treats gets them eating and distracted from just sitting !!

Try it ,just move her out of her normal area
We leave them outside all night too , soon cozy coop just cool air

Using a raised crate to break a broody isn't 'unkind'.

My experience goes about like this: After her setting for 3 days and nights in the nest(or as soon I know she's broody), I put her in a wire dog crate with smaller wire on the bottom but no bedding, set up on a couple of 4x4's right in the coop with feed and water.

I used to let them out a couple times a day, but now just once a day in the evening(you don't have to) and she would go out into the run, drop a huge turd, race around running, take a vigorous dust bath then head back to the nest... at which point I put her back in the crate. Each time her outings would lengthen a bit, eating, drinking and scratching more and on the 3rd afternoon she stayed out of the nest and went to roost that evening...event over, back to normal tho she didn't lay for another week or two. Or take her out of crate daily very near roosting time(30-60 mins) if she goes to roost great, if she goes to nest put her back in crate.

Chunk of 2x4 for a 'roost' was added to crate floor after pic was taken.

I disagree ,

A raised cage with everyone else enjoying themselves is a “time out !”

A change to a different location and things to look at is a “field trip “

Let’s agree to disagree ,
I’ve done both and like the new location results better , they’re eating and singing right away

I agree there other ways, was objecting to your suggestion of 'unkind'.
