Are Brown Leghorns known to be good broody mothers?!?!??!?!!?!?

May be you have an old line of leghorns from a heritage breeding program...rather than a commercial line. A broody is a keeper at my farm.

She is wonderful so far. Taught her first little one to eat chick feed.

yes i have a brown leghorn and she sat on 15 eggs 10 of those eggs hatched and i am very proud of her she was a very protective chicken when she was broody!!!
