Are Buff Orphingtons calm and quiet hens???

My BO hens are pretty vocal after laying their eggs, but otherwise they are fairly quite.

Its not the hen that is laying that is cackling - its her friens/sister (Daisy)! She cackles when she is left alone.

The hen that is laying (Sally) doesn't cackle.

This happens with my chickens too! And we have no idea what to do with her, it’s as if she’s lonely
