Are chicks feet supposed to look like this ?

I just got this chick from rural king and I noticed it’s feet looked odd, is this normal ?

If you are talking about the extra toes, yes it is normal. Some breeds have 5 toes.

Well i just got home from the store and it was acting very lethargic and falling over so I was giving it vitamins and water and food but it isn’t doing much good , that’s why I figured maybe it had a defect or something

I’ve had about 6 out of 40 die , and I did but I never thought it was from shipping cause they have been dying a little after I got them and I saw some with pasty butt but this one doesn’t have anything

Is the chick under heat? Being wet is very dangerous for chicks. I'd also avoid flipping them on their back as they can aspirate. Giving scrambled eggs and plain yogurt can also help give them a little boost.

Thank you , yes I dried her off and she is under heat but still isn’t doing good , and thank you

How long have you had the chicks?
Were they day olds or older?
Could still be shipping stress.

Is it cold where you live?

No, they were asking about the feet. I mean start a thread about a chick that’s acting lethargic and weak.
