I've had problem with crows recently, mainly raiding their field throughs, eating eggs laid outside, scaring the girls away but nothing aggressive.
But today I spotted a crow in the chicken run chasing away one of the girls. Unfortunately I popped it and had to put him down. I feel really bad about it but it is what it is. I read it's relatively rare and in fact they may be a hawk deterrent.
Crows are smart so I'm concern the "word" may get around in the crow community.... could there be "retaliation"?
Very good article here btw, thanks as usual!
