Canada Gosling is now getting bigger, has two ducking buddies and our mature goose also enjoys her company. We are keeping our drake in a separate yard for fear of his sexually predatory ways.

When can we let him join the group, if ever? The gown up goose and him share a pen and are still friends.

As soon as the babies are full grown they can go in with the others. Be aware, drakes don't differentiate between males and females...or chickens, geese or anything else with a vent.

I must have been tired when I posted this, my post looks as if I were drunk!

Yes, I've already witnessed the unsavory behavior of this drake.

I'm wondering if drakes are sexually ready to go all year or is it seasonal? I'm not sure the gender of the ducklings.

Sorry, I was half asleep when I posted (cold meds don't ya know LOL)
Drakes pretty much go at it all year. They slow down in the winter and are worse in the spring.
