No, this thread isn't a joke. I'm just interested in getting duck diapers, and these people convinced me! So, Nettie when my duckies are adults I will get some duckie diapers from you!

i used to have a male female pair of mallrds who lived in the house full time i raised them from 3 day old babies bought from a swap meet. they never wore diapers they had there own room in the house with lanollium floors and a kiddie swimming pool they were 100 percent pets. were not allowed outside without a dog harness i had for them. first time i put it on them they acted like it wasnt even there. and would walk down the street with me of coarse my little male giddian was posessive of me and the female jillian and would attack strangers who would try petting him or getting too close. he was the best guard"duck" money could buy i would always say. in the winter i had a space heater in there room. yes there were very messy after owning them for 3 years (had to give them up becuasewe moved to a much smaller house

we had to tear out the linolium floor when we moved out and re paint the walls (we kept plastic up about 4 feet on each wall) i would take showers with them and set up a much larger kiddie pool in the basement for them to use. i actually think my ducks were freindlier to me then all of my sisters parrots she ever owned! my ducks ahd no qualms about climbing onto my lap for some worms or grasshoppers (i gave as treats) or to just lie down. but boy was it alot of work everyday! had to dry the swimming pool out into the backyard to empty and spray down with the house along with the numourus pans i also filled with water for them to play in not to mention move them to the bathtub while scrapped down the floor with a thick sheet of plastic and wipe it down with rags. and then i would take a homemade spray of water and flavor extracts like strawberry and spray the room so it smelled nice though it only ever smelled like strawberry mixed with duck.
but all in all it was very much worth it i loved my ducks to death and they have amaizng personalities! wish i would have had ducky diapers back then would have been a ton easier!

I'm glad i found this post!!! I've been wondering about diapers for ducks. I got 4 ducklings today and now I'm excited that I can keep them in my house a lot longer!!! Thanks for posting!!!

I often get called crazy for keeping six ducks in my house, who have their own room.... lol... But I think people are more flabbergasted when I tell them not only do mine wear diapers, but I got one who insists one painted toe nails and wearing tutus and dresses when she goes out. lol
