Are ducks bad for ponds?

We have ten Pekin ducks. Our pond is about a quarter of an acre and is about 7 or 8 ft deep. Will their waste contaminate the pond and make it uninhabitable for other wildlife??

ducks poop a LOT. we clean our pools daily and the water is still a little gross by bedtime

I would think a pond that size with natural vegetation with an existing healthy flora/fauna in the water would be able to handle the load
