You definitely do not miss them when they come running! They are so vocal too it makes me giggle. Kourtney (my special runt) tells me about everything I just wish I knew what the heck she was quacking about. She sits next to me and just chatters kind of quietly and contently. So sweet.

I love when they do that...my Aunt Helen is our talker...sometimes she’s a complainer..

Here it’s my Runners I think they have such a high metabolism they eat more. My Muscovy like to eat too along with everyone else but it’s the Runners who are the winners! lol.

Here it is Blanca Duck! She snatched another mouse last night that tried to get to the duck-food… Saw and heart it on the DuckyCam. Poor mouse went down in 10 seconds.

I love that when i am doing stuff outside and walk by a duck sleeping somewhere in the grass i'm greeted with a soft »duck duck duck«.
Every morning when releasing the quackers they wake up the whole valley. Now that all the leaves are gone their quacks echo back, never thought that 19 ducks would be so LOUD!

I don't get how they can get a whole mouse down that little hole especially since they can't chew them up!
