Are ducks ever NOT hungry?

Under the bed boxes with wood attached on sides. They slide off and on. The ducks can move them a bit to get more water on one side or the other. It helps keep the splashing down greatly! And I layer the hay up around the boxes to soak up the excess water. Works for us!
Wow! all those quackers, and no cheese?:D

Very sorry :hugs, dad is eating them right?

@WannaBeHillBilly said he had 41/2 drakes running around I was having a hard time figuring that one out.
Yes Dad is having a big feast. Chris wants to eat some too...I suppose he has every right since he has paid for almost everything. So, that’ll be the next step. Unfortunately, one of my impossible drakes is also one of my dearest ducks...MyGuy...so I just need to teach him manners because he’s not going anywhere!!!

Our Pekin is definitely the pig of the flock but no complaints because she is the only one consistently laying right now.
The Pekins always act hungry but I wouldn't trade them for a fortune in gold. They are such fluffy butts; I love them so much. Only one of five even bothered to lay eggs and has stopped for the Winter. It's alright as long as all of them are safe and sound. Come next Spring there better be more eggs or...duck soup possibly? Just saying...

Ok...so, once again..we have never gotten one egg..nope never one egg, despite having up to 51 ducks at one time! Chris says I’m the worst duck farmer ever! Lol. Anyways he said today that come spring when we get the first one it will be like gold. We will fry it in bacon grease and cut it like a pizza in tiny pieces to give to all our friends because that egg is worth thousands of dollars...lol...he said my dog gets two pieces for putting up with the ducks
