out of 5, I had finally started getting eggs... the brown egg on the left from yesterday and the other two from today. Do hens lays a consistent shade? I am wondering if I have a 3rd pullet that laid... I have 3 Red Sexlink and 2 ameraucana.

CONGRATS!
Just wait..the excitement doesn't go away.
Collecting eggs is still so fun for me!
just wondering... how late in the day would be the last eggs laid... will they lay eggs even in the evening? May be a silly question, but I am totally green to the chicken raising.

Most of mine lay by noon, but I have one girl who always lays around 4-5 pm. So it probably depends on your girls. Congrats on your eggs!

good to know. My last egg between 3-4 pm so maybe that will be about as late as they go.

Not silly at all.
I thought chickens laid in the morning until I asked the same way you are doing.
That said....I collect eggs ALL day up until it starts to get dark.
I wish I could get them to all lay at one time, but no...they make their own schedule.
