It sounds like you've given it a lot of thought. I'm totally into it as a hobby. If I wanted to make money I would plant fruit trees. It's easier and lemons were selling for a dollar each last time I looked. Same with tomatoes. Anyway sort of by mistake I sold about seventy five guineas last year and gave away another twenty seven. They are most likely to break even, easy to sell and easy to hatch. Easy to take them away from mom because she loses track of them.
You're smart to keep fewer breeds (like the campbell ducks). It's easier to sell hatching eggs and ducklings if they are pure.
