Are hova bators any good?

Ive been looking at the Brinsea mini incubators and I think there cool and all but so expensive for such a small incubator.So ive been thinking about the hova bator recently and it looks ok but does it work any good?Im talking about the $55 one.Or chould I just buy the Brinsea eco?

I have the Hovabator 1588 with turner, I looked at both the Brinsea and the hovabator - two reasons I went with the 1588
One was my friend has two and she loves them
Second was there seemed to be a lot more room for them to move around in when hatching
THose were my reasons
I had my first hatch last week, and I have to say, it is so easy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the hovas are the best.. I have the older 2362 model with turner, fan etc.. no problems.. my friend just got the 1588 genisis and its great.. it really keeps temps and humidty right on. Go through ebay.. you canget some really good deals on them. I found my friends 1588 w/ turner for 159.00 shipping included

I have a Hovabator 1588 also, love it. Very roomy, nothing to set, it comes preset. If you get the cheaper one, you will miss the fan. Which comes in very handy for keeping your temp and humidity regulated, as well as drying chicks quickly after they hatch. I had purchased a LG still air previously. Then upgraded, should have spent the money on the Hovabator in the first place.

I have the mini brinsea eco, and i must say that it is fantastic! Ive had 85%-100% hatches!! Temps very stable

I lOve my Hova Bator... Just make sure you get the autoturner as it doesnt get back up to temp very quickly... That way you decrease how often you open it....

I also just bought a Hovabator Genesis 1588 with turner and have my first eggs set for an Easter Hatch. I like that the temp is preset, has a fan and turner. The temp has been very steady over the past week. I thought that not having to worry about temps & turning was well worth the extra money over a still air bator with no turner.

Thanks for all the input guys but can you help me which one to pick?Im looking at the 1602 thermal air incubator and its only $53,I can also get the automatic eggs turner and its only going to cost around $100.But theres also the 1588 genises hovabator for $127 but my mom wont let me buy the egg turning system as thast will add up too around $170.So which sould I pick?

Definitely do the one with circulated air for sure, even if you can"T get the turner..

this one is exact what I have.. once the temp is set it holds perfect.. can you get this one,, fan, turner etc..

I'll keep looking for ya.. I saw this same one on ebay last year for 119.00 plus shipping.. (2362 is great.. love mine, love mine)

If you mom wont swing for the turner,, you can get that down the road.. and this turner here should hold quail eggs.. (never tried it though)
