Are jungle fowl good to have

Hey i was looking into getting some red jungle fowl. I was wondering at what age do the hens start laying and are they just as easy as standard chickens and i would like to know a good hatchery that's not to expensive and every other thing there is to know about them. Thanks

I don't know anything about jungle fowl, but I swear my crazy flock of chickens ACTS like jungle fowl! Ha!

Welcome to BYC! Almost all of my chickens stop laying during the winter due to the reduced hours of sunlight.
