are lohman aggressive or am I just unlucky with my girls? :(

I have decided to stop breeding and owning lohmann, will own 6 chicken breeds left anyway (bantam breeds and bigger breeds) so I isn't a big deal, but the reason I have decided this is because they have killed 2 lovely hens I have, first one was a 2 year old brahma the other on was 1 year old cream legbar, I think lohmann are great chickens, so cute, they always run up to me and like hey human do you have treats, but unfortunately they killed 2 hens that they knew and where friends I thought because there was never any problem before.
they wherent in a coop that was crowded, they had a lot of space and got to go out side every day and always had food and water.

so I'm just wondering if I'm just unlucky that my girls are aggressive to other breeds or if this is common in this breed?

just so you also know the chicken coop was even little to big for them so they wherent crowded at all! so I don't understand why they did that :(

I have two brown Lohmanns and two Red Stars that I bought a couple days apart. They're virtually indistinguishable except for comb length and leg colour. Even at that the differences are subtle. That being said, the Lohmanns are definitely the top two in the pecking order, even though generally the four of them are pretty docile.

I'm surprised by what you've experienced and thanks. I have room in the coop for one more bird and I wanted something with a little colour. I'll think twice about introducing a Legbar or other flighty hen.
