I am only getting a pair of peacocks to start off with, but are they picky? For istince <----- wrong spelling, if a male only has 1 peahen will he not want to breed her because he wants a diffrent peahen? Also there are wild peacocks here 2 males and 2 female, 3 IB and 1 white black gold and blue colored one possibly a BS. Anyway will they come over to my yard and try to fight through the wire? I will be buying a better male, the guy told me he has 8-10 eye feathers, the wild one has maybe 3 does that make much of a diffrence?

He will try to breed a chicken or guinea or duck ect if that all he has. As you know, there are not too many male species in the world that are too plckey!

Yes some peacocks can be picky, I have see peacocks that will not breed a peahen , out of 5 he didn't like one ,even to the point he would chase her around the pen, but not to mate with. my guess its rare ,but i have seen it
