Are most Polish roosters mean????

I have been reading on here and other sites Do Polish roosters tend to be meaner than regular breeds of chickens ,???? or is aggression built into crested breeds? or does it depend on the rooster itself?

No I have never heard of a mean polish roo, but with all breeds, it is possible to get a mean one every now & then.

I have heard this, mostly about Sultans and Crevecure roosters, having means streaks but not polish. Again it's possible.

I have never had a mean polish roo. Stupid, yes. Mean, no.

And usually the stupid goes away when they get a haircut.

Nope no creves here yet, but looking.
I am thinking of getting some from the person in GA. if not, from a friend in OH. they had some of the best in the whole U.S.
I raise mainly laced polish & WCrested polish. I am looking into houdans & Creves soon.

Had sultans also they were not as WOW as the rest in my opinion.

I have a silver polish crested roo, we named Speedbump. He was the smallest chick we had and seemed to be forever the last chicken to do anything. When he finally found his stride he was great, a little skittish (always running the other way when we throw treats down) but docile when we handle him; not the best at protecting the girls and oft times a little rough with them when he does his roosterly duties but he is never aggressive with us. Now, my other roos...well that's another matter.

I have a polish roo in with one polish hen and a bunch of bantam hens and he cut me up about 4 weeks ago. The first night I thought it might be a fluke and didn't worry about it. Didn't even think about it again until the next night when I had one foot off the ground and he attacked the shin of the foot I was standing on. About 5 minutes later, he was without spurs. Not saying all polishes or all of any breed are mean, but this polish roo is mean.

I’m not for sure if my Six week old evil twins are Roos or pullets. Have a good idea that they are actually both pullets but let me tell you this shytlings are mean as hell. I hatched true blue D’uccles Same time and 3 silkies 3 weeks ago. And recently the twins have been extremely aggressive chest bumping and pecking . Packing mainly the three week old silkies but chest bumping all. More the D’uccle Roo that they all hung out with from the beginning I assumed that the twins were his girls and still do. From what I read about Polish and from what I’ve experienced with my first ever to Polish chickens with all my chickens together totaling nine With my very first rooster Bing about five months on the Polish twins avoid human contact and squeal when touched very aggressive to the rest of the bunch of course not to the five month old rooster but I was assuming at one point because my rooster just went into his sexual hormones. Maybe his aggressiveness of not having a woman around his age was rubbing off on the others but I noticed by reading s maybe his aggressiveness of not having a woman around his age was rubbing off on the others but I noticed by doing some research at this time of age they are in the process of figuring out the pecking order. But besides all that my first and only to Polish chickens are mean and hate human contact even though the rest of them love to be loved you would think them seeing how much attention they can get by me with Others they would change their mind but no there are two of a kind and they run together and rather be away from the other ones and they haven’t even got to the point where their fathers are in their face yet I wondered if this was a behavior that happens before they end up having problems because they’re on able to see what their feathers in their face and from research I’ve heard that Polish chickens end up getting most of the time bullied and below the pecking order due to the inability you see very well but if my research On them have taught me anything It is that they got it all wrong any type of chicken or animal you get can have their own behavior and personality so you get what you get and love them are you find a good place for them to be if you can’t handle them and they are aggressive to your other chickens in a place to where they’re out of control I’m hoping they don’t get out of control as they growOrder it is time to put them in their coop they will have to be separated and into their own little home There is a picture of my twins marshmallow and snowball
