Are my chickens a hen or rooster?

Roughly 5 months ago, I got Two baby chickens from a local hatchery. I wasn’t sure if they were hens or roosters. One of them is a light Brahma, and the other is a americana. The americana got a bit beaten up by the other chickens that we have, so her feathers are a bit frayed. Her tail feathers before she got beat up, we’re nice and rounded like a hen, but now seem to be pointy because they got beaten up by the other chickens. The Brahma is about two weeks younger than the americauna. Let me know what you think!
