Hi everyone im very new to this we have six chicks they are about 9or10weeks old they have feathers and are growing by the moment we built them a rather large broader but im worried that they are getting cramped and bored ,can they be moved out to the coop the heat lamp has been off for the last week but since they are inside the temp never goes below 70 ,is there a good way to introduce them to being out doors we are free ranging but im wondering do I keep them penned for the first few weeks we live in upstate ny the nights can still get into the 40s im worried it may still be too cold ????? Any help would be welcomed thank you

They are quite old enough to move out full time now. It sounds like the weather is mild enough, so you don't have to worry about them getting chilled and at this stage they have more than enough feathers to keep them warm.
