Are my eggs fertile?

I have 6 hens to the one rooster.
I candled the eggs I had been incubating and saw no veins so I cracked them open and they showed no sign of development. By comparison the shipped eggs I put in with them are developing well.
The photos are of a fresh laid egg I cracked open to check for fertility after discovering no development in the incubating eggs...
Hope that all makes sense

I know you said your rooster might be too old but roosters can sure chicks until 7-8 years of age. Does he look that old?

Yeah, I think this rooster will be chicken soup soon anyway, he started getting aggressive when my hen went broody and progressively has gotten worse.
I'll have some roosters in my shipped eggs, but that'll be a way aways till they can do the job.
Oh well.
Thanks for all the help/advice

I have found with Roos that start getting aggressive that I will grab them up sometimes it requires a chase but I won’t let up and then I’ll simply hold him upside down until he falls asleep then lay him down and he behaves for a good while lol sounds crazy but I refuse to be bullied!

I have Cochin bantams and they have been laying now for about 2 months, I see my roo doing his business. My question is are the eggs fertile? I’ve candled and I just can’t tell! So today I cracked two and still no sure so I’m posting the pictures in hopes someone can advise.. thanks in advance both photos are same eggs I enhanced one to help with glare
