Are my eggs OK to eat?

I wouldn't be afraid to eat the eggs. I have left some out on my counter for a month (unwashed) as a test and ate them. They were great. I think a lot of the eggs you buy in a store are probably around a month old when you get them from the store, but they have been refrigerated.

My friend bought some eggs in Japan and ate them for thiry days while sailing to Alaska. All good. No refrigeration needed.
