Here is a picture of my four chicken babies back in April 2012...
I bought them at Southern States in Kentucky on April 7, 2012 (The day before Easter Sunday) and I need your help in determining the BREED and SEX of each. I've been told they are all roosters and wanted to know your opinion. I am still hoping one day soon I will find an egg in the coop though!! This is my first time raising chickens. They are at 5 months old now
1. PECKER - (The Crower) He was the first to crow so I'm sure he is a rooster. Does anyone know what breed he may be?
2. POOPY - (The hair puller) My niece named her because it seemed she had poop on her bottom but then I later determined it was the umbilical cord still attached and not pasting up. She was the second to crow but it has not been often, (only a few times throughout the day at a total of 3 days that I've heard and very pitiful sounding) so I assumed she's just a hen wanting to be a rooster! What do you think?
3. DAISY - (The Sweetie) Am I a Rooster or a Hen?
4. ROSIE - (The Explorer) Am I a Rooster or a Hen?
