And PS her crest is a little wet will get pics when she is dried off.

I could also use tips and tricks on showing and cleaning my birds.iwant too show them at a local fair is October

You probably won't like this, but to get a white crest, you have to pull the feathers. They grow back in 6 weeks, I think. Also, pull any broken feathers.
That's about all I know on Polish. They look tame, if that's any consolation.

To know if your birds are show quality, you need to the research. This involves either purchasing or getting ahold of the Standard Of Perfection at least for your breed of bird. Familiarize yourself with what makes a SQ bird. There are very few show breeders left on BYC. Most have left for other social medias.

Your birds are not show quality sorry to say... Both of their crests should be much fuller and your white crested black polish shouldn't have any white feathers on her wings... Do you mind if i ask if you got these from a hatchery?

I don't mind yes I did.
but her crest looks smaller in the picture then it is in person I don't think I will be showing them any more because we will be gone most of the summer so I will not be able to finish her training. I would have got them from a breeder but their was no breeders in my area.

Are you showing her for looks? Or for behavior because if you're showing her for behavior then she'd be great, But unfortunately all hatchery chickens are NOT show quality... Have you looked into buying hatching eggs? I know there a bit pricy and theres not a big chance of them all hatching but its worth a shot.
