This is the chick in my hand. It's obviously a bit older than just a day or two old. It's wing feathers are already pretty filled in.

And for size comparisons this is the same chick from above pictured with my 2 week old silver sebright. They're roughly the same size? I have 4 of the phoenixes total. I got them today.

They come both large fowl and bantam.
Are you sure it is a Silver Phoenix? Looks more like a Golden Phoenix is why I asked.

If the sebright is 2 weeks and the pheonix is probably 4 or 5 days old i am going to have to say it is a standard size. Bantam pheonix chicks are a lot smaller. They would have been about the same size as the sebright was when the sebright was there age.

Yep definitely silver Phoenix. They're very silver. I had the heat lamp reflecting red on their fuzz in these photos. This was a local feed shop not a tsc mix up. They ordered in jersey giants, brahmas, and silver Phoenix chicks. I figured they were standard but they seemed really small but I just read they are small birds anyway.
