Are polish chicks more lethargic than others?

Just got a fresh batch of 16 chickens. Off the bat, all but one were chirping and running around, eating, drinking, pooping. I didn't even have to teach them to do such. However, one of my golden polish looked half dead!!! I gave it egg yolk and electrolytes, and picked it up to get it to drink, which it would. Every few hours I'd pick it up again to give it a good drink. After about 4 hours it got up itself and ate and drank, but then became lethargic again. After about 8 hours, the other polish chick became lethargic too. Are they tired from the 3 day trip, or should I be worried? Is it something to do with the breed? Even when they get trampled by the other chicks they stay sleeping! UPDATE AS OF JUNE 1ST: both have sadly passed away

What are they eating?

I'd give them a wet mash of chick starter. Provide the electrolytes as well.

How warm is the brooder on the hot side and cold side - temperatures please.

While I don't know the exact temperature of the warm side, it doesn't say, I assume it's the perfect 95 degrees. I've been giving them purina organic chick starter with grogel. The electrolytes are quick chick. I don't know the cold side either and can't find a thermometer. They seem to be pretty scattered though so I don't think it's too cold for the other chicks.

You are giving the grogel in a separate container correct?

They are tiny aren't they! You may find that these 2 need to have the feed ground down a bit smaller so they can eat a bit better.

Do watch to see if they will drink on their own. Not sure what's happening. I agree, it looks like they are spread out fairly well and have room to get away from the heat.

I just sprinkled the grogel over the food like the instructions said. I've seen both "eat" but the first to become lethargic has struggled. I've seen both drink on their own. Again, the first to become lethargic struggling a bit. I'll try to crush some up. I know some chicks just don't make it, but I'm hoping that's not the case

What is the Gro Gel that you have?

Usually this is mixed with water, not sprinkled.

Oh, I guess you mean, you mix the grogel, get it hydrated, then sprinkle it...
