Are quail profitable?

I've been thinking about getting into quail and selling the fertile eggs and chicks for some extra money. Has anyone had success with selling? If so, where and what do you sell?
I will only be doing local sales.
Is it actually profitable?

It really depends on where you are. Check your local feed stores, local classifieds, FB groups, and craigslist to see if any are available already, how much they're selling for, and if they're not, how much interest there is.

I had some decent profit back when I was in SuperExpensiveLand (The San Francisco Bay Area), but less here in southern OR. There is still a market, but it's not quite as good, and I can't sell the eggs for quite as much.
