Are rabbit water bottles suffcinet for chicks?

I am trying cleaner method, nipples,or just a regular rabbit water bottle. But, I have been noticing them peck at it, and seems like their getting the hang of it and actually getting water, but is it enough water?

Enough for them to help swallow with their food?

I have rabbit water bottles hanging on my chicken runs and use the small mouse bottles in the brooder. They'll learn to push the ball and hold in order to get a steady stream.

So is it to swallow with food drop after drop?

They drink from them whenever they are thirsty. They can push the ball and hold it to get a stream of water if they need more than a drop.
