Are Rouen duck eggs bigger then chicken eggs!?

Hi this may be a dumb question but are rouen duck eggs bigger then chicken eggs?
I have one rouen duck who started laying about 2 weeks ago and her eggs are small sometimes they get a little big but are still small. I was wondering will they get bigger any time soon. She is 21 weeks old by the way.

I would also like to see pictures of comparing a rouen egg to a chicken egg.

They start small--but yes they are larger than chicken eggs when they get up to speed. Takes them a bit as its a lot of work, requires lots of protein and calcium. When my girls started laying, they looked like quail eggs... Now I can barely fit them in the bator. Not quite as big as a turkey egg but quite large.

You'll also find their membrane way tougher than a chicken egg.

Duck eggs in general will be bigger than chicken eggs. I have muscovies but can show you the difference in comparison to a extra large chicken egg from the store. I can't say exactly when it will start getting to that size, but it will before you know it.

Yes, eggs start off small....Then get the proper size after a week or two of laying....
