Are Sandhill birds generally healthy?

I would recommend reading their catalog VERY carefully before ordering. Have not had a good experience with them. Extremely hard to communicate with.

They are old fashioned. They do everything by mail. Remember they run a big operation which includes birds, seeds and others.

If they don't get on with the "times" of the future when we all do online, they will not too much longer except for the rarest of rare breeds and it is the ONLY source you can get it from. Snail mail has its place however more and more people are internet savvy. I wish they would do internet orders and respond by email (it was so rare for me to get a simple email or gone unanswered for months or never responded at all).

Heck I have better response from McMurray and Ideal Hatchery!

i liked the cubalayas that i got from them so much. they have some really nice birds. that was 6 or 7 years ago, though. we ordered seeds from them this year as we get away from hybrids and genetically modified seeds for heirloom. i would order from them again if i needed birds and would like to get some of their delawares.
