Are Seramas Usually Mean To Other Birds?

Hey so I got 2 Pekin Ducklings and when they got close to one of the Serama Roosters, the rooster started acting like a a-hole and started attacking them. I had to break up the fight and the rest is history. Now I've heard that seramas are usually nice birds and everything but this was a first. Are is my serama different or is it just normal rooster behavior?

Uh. Maybe he’ll stop. I have a serama roo that lives on my sun porch because he can not be around birds bigger than him. He is fine with baby chicks but he will try and fight grown hens Aaand huge grown roosters. He is so game that if I put him outside in a coop he riles normally gentle roosters to fight him through the hardware cloth. I fully believe he would attack a full grown duck. Or a goose for that matter.

Lol to little man syndrome. That is just it. Mine is also a total cutie. But no way my big roos would get away with acting how he does. It would be terrifying.

Yeah, size is everything.

Compare yappy scrappy chihuahua to barky fighty doberman. Exactly the same behaviour. Different package. We tolerate different things due to size.

So how did the Serama act as the ducks grew? I am debating on what to do with a Serama rooster before becoming too attached. He will be kept with silkies and we are not sure if there is a rooster in that group yet. Thanks!
