Are Silkies Ideal Broodies?

Mine don't catch on that well. They don't usually have time. Ninja chicken comes vaulting out of the nest box so fast they might not even know what's after them.

One particularly memorable time I was playing with fluffy cochin babies and my fattest cat just came up to rub on my leg. Mama hen gave him the one eyed stare and pecked him clear on the nose. He didn't even run away, he was just that flabbergasted about what happened!

My cat loves to Sprint right through the flock as they're having their last forage of the day and they all flip out because they didn't know if it was her or a Fox and I can just imagine them yelling at each other for a head count :lau
