I have 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte. She is now about 13 weeks old. She has always had the prettiest voices since she was tiny. I almost thought a wild bird had gotten trapped in the run but it was Wynnie chattering to her best bud Henneth Fowltrow.
Seriously, it's almost musical, or bell like. Of course I may be slightly exaggerating but none of the others make her noise. Does anyone else have this breed? Does the voice continue to be pretty? I'm not saying my other birds don't have pretty voices, but going from baby cheep-cheep to adult bwawk-bwawk is definitely a voice change. I'm hoping Wynnie changes to a pretty bell like bwawk-bwawk. I'd get more SLW just to hear them chattering!
How about that answer for the topic "What is the purpose of your flock?"
