You are so behind the times. 4 is so last year as 2 extras have been marketed already. Now there are 6 drumstiks cut out from each bird by creative butchering cutouts.

"Our state Farm Bureau put together a panel rebuttle to the movie."
“State Farm Bureau” sounds like a government agency to me, unless you’re a factory type farm pleas don’t be naive enough to believe their rebuttal to any “anti corporate farm” information to be :lol:anything less than an effort to protect big business. Government agencies are only interested in protecting those who fill their pockets: big business.

Farm Bureau is an insurance company....it is not connected to the govenment. I think every state has a branch of Farm Bureau insurance. They are a big supporter of farmers and ranchers both big and small and provide coverage for we farmers........something that many company's won't do. You might want to check out your facts about them before you bad mouth them.

This is my 4-legged super hybrid featherless cornish cross roo at just under 7 weeks of age. He's just about ready for butcher.

I dont understand why in a commercial standpoint, they're mutants, but if a BYC'er raises them they're a delicious chicken. They're the same exact breed, raised the same period of time, and raised the same way. I raise my chicks in a brooder, with a heating system, plenty of feed, water and bedding.... as do commercial farms.

I didnt realize if you raised a couple thousand together they randomly mutated into munsters.

Wait a sec....have you eaten pasture raised meat birds before?

I've eaten both, yes. I do enjoy raising my own, but no one else in the household will eat home raised meat. Therefore, I choose to just eat what is purchased from the store most of the time. I support the poultry industry and intend to pursue a career in it, most likely on the meat side of the industry.
