Are strawberry leaves bad?

So my EA crane Sandstorm has some weird eating habits. For strawberries he only will eat the green leaves. Are just straight leaves bad for him?

I have no idea, I am guessing no the won't hurt him. There was a kid in one of my culinary classes a few years ago who would always eat the leaves off of strawberries, he told me it was healthy when I questioned him. I saw him just last week so he is still alive. But kids are different than cranes I guess.

It’ll be fine. It’s part of their natural diet from wetlands.
