are ther any non-flighty white egg layers?

The calmest white egg layers are probably the Dorking and Holland. The Polish and Houdan also lay white eggs, but I have found their temperament to vary depending on the strain. I have also heard that the old fashion "show quality" Leghorns are larger and calmer then their commercialized cousins.

Thank you Rhoda. I hope to pick up a couple of Dorking Pullets this summer. I had some on order from Murray but decided to go with a breeder closer to home and cancelled that order. I look forward to having them.
