Are there any poultry shows in PA

chickenmama101,
There is currently this week the Pa Farm Show, then in the spring and fall Uniontown, Pa have shows plus they have a monthly swap meet, the York show is in the fall, The Bloomsburg club has a sale/auction in the spring and fall and they are still working on having a show. There is a swap meet at Tobias Game farm near Lykens. The Poultry Press always has these shows listed in them. Hope that helped some. Harry
OH, they have a 4H show near Lansdale also.

chickenmom,
Search yahoo it will come up. It is a montly paper that all the show breeders subscribe to. Has articles, adds, show results ect plus you get a coupon for $5 off each month on Purina feed if you buy two bags of purina feed. It has been around longer than I can remember. Harry

For anyone in the area who would like to go or has children interested in raising and showing poultry the 4H Harry mentioned is a good one. It is the Montgomery County 4H Fair
held at the 4H Center in Creamery Pa, 19430. The last day of the fair birds are sold, and since they are tested and vaccinated preshow and some sold post judging you can read the comments on the cards and can get some good buys. Some are extras donated to raise money for the club, some are the breed project birds. Last years "Know your Breed"
was Ameraucanas from Paul and Angela Smith. This years is Bantam Cochins.
