Are there anyways to prevent Muscovy ducks to fly away?

Good post and valid point. Once you have seen a blood feather they are pretty easy to recognize. The first time you trim a birds wings is a bit nerve wracking but after that it is no big deal. You just need to have a good holder! If you do have a bleeding blood feather sometimes the only way to get it to stop is to pull it from the base. Good to research before hand for sure!
Ah, thank you very much. I just have to wait til they're old enough. :)

They have to have their flight feathers completely grown in before you cut or they will bleed a lot. When yours get old enough we can show you how if you want to go that route.
Yes of course, cut when fully grown. & it's alright I was sent videos that showed me where to cut.
I don't keep ducks so I can't say. As far as bleeding from feathers. (Or anywhere else) You should look up a couple of different methods for stopping blood loss, and have the materials on hand. Not only for the occasional accident clipping wings. But injuries happen, when your animal is bleeding in front of you, that's the wrong time to be learning how to stop it. Your injured animals will thank you.
Of course! Thank you for helping. :)
