There might be some hens that never fully develop their reproductive system, or some hens just may never lay. I have a Light Sussex that did not start laying until she was 10months old. I have some other hens of different breeds that rarely lay. Some lay anywhere between 0-7eggs a week. It mostly depends on the hen, the weather, molt, diet, other conditions. I have a few hens that lay 6-7week, but when it rains for 3-4days even they slack off. Just give them some time. They might be holding out to drive you crazy.
