Are there other people on the forum who do this?

Well said. People on this forum figure out very quickly who posts for the sake of increasing post count and those who post because they want to participate and contribute.

I agree. I woke up this morning thinking how much fun BYC is and how it was so nice within minutes of joining, several people welcomed me. Those are the people who's BYC pages I look at first. I seen how they made thier signatures and some of their previous posts and look to see thier chickens and if they had auctions. Because they were super nice to say hello. For me it's not about number of posts, it's about sharing the love on BYC! I am retired and it would be the same as a Walmart greeter but I can do this in my PJs, drinking coffee. Random Acts of Kindness.....Pass it on ♥♥♥

No, I don't do that. I don't really care how many posts I have. The only thing I use the number of posts someone has is when I'm asking for advice. It gives me an idea of how long someone responding has been on BYC, and an inkling of how much experience they may have with chickens.

Quality is better than quantity. IMHO

Me? I post alot in the G J & F forum, really just for the heck of it, I don't think myself "superior" to others if my post count is higher, nor that I know more or have more chickens. Just fun seeing the new titles pop up once in every while
